official cheapskate version of post....

Alright? Hi everyone, Before I started working as a CLDW. I was
fortunate enough to be part of the embrionic stages at Cafe K. Indeed,
though cultivating this project I have seen it grow and develop
at a rate which suits the young people we work with and the community
centre. Interesting part: I was one of the last YTS trainees earning
£25.00 per week so thanks Maggie Thatcher for the foot up!
(Sarcasm is one of my strong points!). |

Trainee
Youth Worker |
 |
I
got involved in the Jack Kane Centre Management Committee so
that I could give my feeling on how the clubs are run and hopefully
my feelings will change the centre and now I am a trainee youth
working on a Friday at Café K. I don’t think the
centre needs to be changed all that much, but I would just like
to develop it more. The way I would like to change it is by
getting views from young people my age on the club and giving
the young peoples views to the committee and hopefully things
will change.
I would also like Hibs to try and play better football and win
more cups.

including a compendium of games from A-Z. Improvisation and scripted
pieces a speciality! A true thespian in various disguises from
playing the baddy in many roles, the king in others to Baloo in
Jungle Book, recently a cheeky girl and many many more!! So get
in contact and he will take you to your path! |

Hi
my name is Fran and I work alongside Pete, the ‘director
extraordinaire’. I’m probably considered the sane
one, but have been known to ham it up as an ugly sister! When
I’ve got time I love to write scripts for shows and enjoy
watching the drama group bringing them to life. I love singing
and think of myself as a bit of a karaoke queen! I’m also
a massive fan of Meat Loaf, he’s the best!! |
