The centre itself has been up and standing since 1976 and Cafe K as a youth provision came around as a pilot project in 2002 which was overseen by the Jack Kane Management Commitee. Through securing funding the project was able to continue, albeit small steps at first, but now has a staff team comprimising of 11 workers who are either full time, sessional or volunteers, which enables Cafe K to provide a service to young people 52 weeks of the year.

This page brings together all the past projects that Cafe K has been involved in whilst working in partnership with other agencies and local young people.
